Throughout his career, Talal has helped local New Mexican communities and non-profits secure over $100 million in funding. He works directly with NMGA’s clients to ensure the highest quality of services are delivered.

Kat has been a professional writer since 2012. She currently specializes in grants management for organizations that give students, youth, and families stable housing.
Since 2019, Kat has worked with mission-based and nonprofit organizations and has a history of surpassing fundraising development goals. She is passionate about building relationships and establishing strong internal and external communication plans to help organizations fight for equality and empowerment.

Megan Fleming is an award-winning, New Mexico-based freelance writer with years of experience developing strategic marketing tools and creative content for clients across the country. While her background is in insurance, health care and technology, she’s written for non-profits, retail, tourism, and the food industry. A versatile writer, Megan develops content for corporate communications, web sites, blogs, social media, speeches, case statements, TV and more. She also offers project management and special event support.

Kyle Lane has dedicated her nonprofit career within different types of organizations, including social services and education. I have been a full-time grant writer for nearly eight years. Over twenty years ago, I adopted a two-year-old with severe mental health challenges. My experiences with my son have instilled a deep understanding of the importance of funding high-quality community-based organizations, which is why I became a grant writer. My work primarily focuses on education, workforce development, agriculture and food insecurity, gun safety, and mental health.
