  • Processes for grant opportunity assessment to ensure alignment with your organization's mission
  • Establish procedures for financial management of grant funded projects
  • Determine financial internal controls for federal grant reporting
  • Standardize grant file management and close out processes
  • Identify areas of high risk and develop internal templates to capture required data

Staff Training

Success lies in ensuring your staff and sub-grantees have the knowledge and skills to administer a federal or state grant program in compliance with the grant agreement and other applicable regulations.

Assist you to develop and execute trainings on the following:
  • Compliance with federal regulations including 2 CFR 200, civil rights/EEOP, fixed asset management, American Steel, Buy America
  • Grant management and administration best practices
  • Sub-grantee monitoring, site visits, and request for reimbursement processes
  • Budget development, budget management and accounting reconciliation using pivot tables
  • Grant writing, logic models, and establishing S.M.A.R.T. goals/objectives

Sub-Recipient Training

Sub-recipient management begins with a proper project launch and training to ensure all project team members are on the same page and clearly understand their roles, responsibilities, and requirements per federal and state regulations.

Assist you to develop and execute trainings on the following:
  • Applicable regulations including 2 CFR 200, civil rights/EEOP, fixed asset management, American Steel, Buy America
  • Sub-recipient Grant reporting requirements
  • Request for reimbursement processes
  • Expectations for record maintenance
